Net labels...

Net labels or "web labels" are deliverers of music in digital format, the majority in mp3, in the Internet. Most of all disposal the contents gratuitously - it does not have physical objectos - and bets in alternative creations to the traditional discographic circuit towards to "mainstream".
We can say that the "on-line" music services practically exist since the appearance of personal computers.
However, the phenomenon of "web labels" was installed from the moment where the consumption of music in format mp3 was popularized, in the end of the decade of 90. Between the pioneers, the world-wide level are the Kosmic Free Music Foundation, which activity was drew out between 1991 and 1999; Five Musicians, between 1995 and 2000 and function since 1997,Tokyo Dawn Records. In Portugal, it fit to the Enough Records to tame way.
Netlabels are fruit of the revolution computer science and is presented as an alternative market to the one of the commercialization of mp3, once that the distributions free. "Netlabels" had been born as contra culture, as form of disposal culture gratuitously and for all, against the "mainstream"" market.
Meanwhile, will happen cases of musicians who start for revealing its work in "weblabels" and finish for being invited by independent editors to edit in physical support.
